We headed to the hospital Monday morning to get ready for the arrival of Baby Elter. We were very excited and nervous at the same time. Our parents came to Mandeville to be here and wait for the news. It was a looooooooong day. Just as Chad was saying this is crazy, and we should just go home and wait, I got up and noticed that my water broke. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon. We had been at the hospital since 5:00am. I was feeling okay but starting to feel some pain and pressure. Finally got an epidural around 10:00 pm and was much better.
Chad and the nurse helped me prepare for a while and Dr. Guillory came in around 3:00 a.m. Then the fun beagn.... Ha! And then.......
Davis Charles Elter was born on May 25, 2010 at 3:24 a.m 6 lbs.12oz. 18 1/2 inches
